ગુજરાતમાં લોકડાઉન દરમિયાન કામ-ધંધાથી અમદાવાદ-સુરત સહિતના મોટા જિલ્લાઓમાં આવેલા અને લોકડાઉનને કારણે આ જિલ્લાઓમાં ફસાયેલા લોકો માટે ગુજરાત સરકારે મોટી જાહેરાત કરી છે. લોકડાઉન દરમિયાન આ જિલ્લાઓમાં ફસાયેલા લોકો હવે પોતોના વતન પરત જઈ શકશે. ગુજરાત સરકારે રાજ્યમાં આંતરિક પ્રવાસની છૂટ આપી દીધી છે. આવતી કાલથી વતન પરત જવા ઇચ્છતા લોકો જે તે જિલ્લાના કલેક્ટરને ઓનલાઇન અરજી કરી શકશે. તેમજ પરમ દિવસથી લક્ઝરી મારફત વતન જવા માટે મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવશે. શરૂઆતમાં માત્ર લક્ઝરી બસને પરિવહન માટે મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવી છે. તેમજ પરમિશન વગર કોઇ પણ વ્યક્તિ ખાનગી વાહનોમાં પ્રવાસ કરી શકશે નહીં. આ અંગે ગુજરાત સરકારના મંત્રી ગણપત વસાવાએ માહિતી આપી હતી.ગુજરાત સરકારના આ નિર્ણયને કારણે ઉત્તર ગુજરાત અને સૌરાષ્ટ્રના અન્ય જિલ્લાઓમાં ફસાયેલા લોકોને મોટો ફાયદો થશે. સુરતમાં 12 લાખ રત્નકલાકારો હવે વતન પરત ફરી શકશે. વધુ વિગતો હવે પછી જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે. વતન જવા માંગતા લોકોએ અન્ય બીજી શરતોનું પાલન કરવાનું રહેશે. જે અંગેની માર્ગદર્શિકા હવે જાહેર કરવામાં આવશે.
