ઉઠતા રહો ઉપર....પતંગની જેમ .. Happy Makar Sankratni

પતંગના આકાશમાં પહોંચવાનો અર્થ થાય છે કે તમે મેદાનમાં આવીને બાંયો ચડાવીને તૈયાર છો. તમારી એક પતંગ છે અને ચારેબાજુ પ્રતિદ્વંદીઓ આવે છે. પતંગની ચારે બાજુથી ઘેરવામાં આવે છે. પણ પેચ લડાવવાની હિમંત કોઈ એક પતંગ કરે છે. આ કબડ્ડીનું મેદાન નથી કે કોઈ એકને અડકીને તમે તમારા ઘર તરફ પાછા જાવ. આ એ મેદાન છે જ્યાં કરો કે મરોની લડાઈ લડવાની હોય છે. તમારી પતંગ કપાશે અથવા તો એની જે તમારી સાથે પેચ લડાવી બેસ્યો છે.

પતંગો મુક્તઆકાશમાં ઉડતી, સરસરાતી, લહેરાતી, ગુંલાટો મારતી, સુંદર, સજીલી પતંગો, કેટલાય રંગોની પતંગો, અવનવા નામની પતંગો ચાપટ, આઁખેદાર, પટીયલ, વગેરે તમને લોભાવતી નથી ? રંગીન કાગળ પર એક નાનકડી શોધ કેટલાક લોકો માટે સમયને વેડફવો હોઈ શકે, પણ આશા અને વિશ્વાસ આકાંક્ષા અને સંકલ્પ અને પ્રેમ તથા સ્વપ્નની ભાવુક પતંગ દરેક યુગના માણસે ઉડાવી છે, અને ઉડાવી રહ્યા છે. આજે પણ કેટલાય લોકો એવા છે કે જેમની યાદોના સમુદ્રમાં એક આ પતંગને બહાને બહુ બધુ બહાર નીકળે છે. 

કેટલીય કમજોર આંખોમાં એ પતંગમયી ભૂતકાળ આજે પણ થરથરે છે. કેટલાય લોકોએ એને મુઠ્ઠીમાં બાંધી રાખ્યુ છે. મુઠ્ઠી વારંવાર ખુલે છે અને એ મીઠી યાદો શબ્દોમાં બંધાઈને, ગાલમાં સજીને અતીતના આકાશમાં ઉંચે ઉડવાને માટે વ્યાકુળ થઈ જાય છે અને જ્યારે કોઈએ જાણવા માટે હાથ પસાર્યા તો શુ તે સાચવી શક્યા તે યાદો ? આંગળીના તીરાડોમાંથી સરકવા માંડી ! સાચી જ વાત છે ને કે યાદોને સમેટવા માટે પાલવ પણ મોટો જોઈએ.

પતંગોના પણ નામ હોય છે - 'ચાપટ, ચરકટ, આઁખેદાર, પટિયલ, ઢાલ,ચીલી અને બીજા ન જાણે કેટલા નામ હોય. જ્યાં દોરી સૂતવામાં આવે છે ત્યાં ના દ્રશ્યોમાં કોઈ ફોડીને કાઁચ વાટી રહ્યા હોય, તો કોઈ રંગને ભેળવી રહ્યો હોય. કોઈના હાથમાં રીલ હોય છે, કોઈ દોરાને રંગમાં ડૂબાડી ચરખામાં લપેટી રહ્યા છે. 

પહેલાના જમાનામાં તો પતંગો ઉડાવવાની મજા જ અલગ હતી. લોકો પતંગો પર શાયરી કરીને પતંગો ઉડાવતા હતા. અને શાયરી પણ આજકાલની શાયરી જેવી હલકી નહોતી. આજકાલ તો ગીત જ એટલા બોરિંગ લાગે છે કે એક વાર સાંભળ્યા પછી બીજીવાર સાંભળવાની ઈચ્છા નથી થતી. આજકાલ મકરસંક્રાંતિનો મતલબ મોટા અવાજે ડીજે વગાડવું, પતંગના બહાને અડોસ-પડોસની છોકરીઓને તાકવી અને પતંગો પર ફાલતુ વાતો લખીને પડોશીની અગાશીમાં જાણી જોઈને ફસાવી દેવી. એવુ નથી કે બધા યુવાનો આવા જ હોય છે. આજે પણ રચનાત્મક વિચારો ધરાવતા યુવાનો છે. જે પતંગને શણગારીને ઉડાવે છે. કદી કેસેટની ખૂબ ટેપ લાંબી લટકાવી દે છે તો કદી કાગળની લાંબી કાપલીઓ કાપીકાપેને ચિપકાવી દે છે. 

જેમ જેમ સાંજ ઢળતી જાય તેમ તેમ પતંગ ઉડાવવાનો જોશ વધતો જાય છે. થોડુક અંધારુ થાય કે પતંગ સાથે તુક્કલ બાંધી દેવામાં આવે, આ દ્રશ્ય બહુ જ રમણીય લાગે છે. એવુ લાગે છે કે જાણે ખુલ્લા આકાશમાં દીવાઓ ઉડી રહ્યા છે.

આપણે બધા પોતાના સ્વાર્થની ઉંચાઈઓ પર પહોંચવાની હરીફાઈ કરીએ છીએ. દેશના વિકાસની પતંગ, દેશના શાંતિની પતંગ અને રાષ્ટ્ર જાગૃતિની પતંગને સફેદ આકાશના છેડે મોકલવા કયારે હરીફાઈ કરીશુ. જેને આગળ પાછળ, ડાબા-જમના કે આસ-પડોસની કોઈ 'દુશ્મન પતંગ' કાપી ન શકે. અને જો કોઈ વગર કારણે અટકે તો તેને પૂરી હિમંતથી કાપી નાખીએ અને એક સાથે બોલી ઉઠીએ એ
