How fasting Work for body
આયુર્વેદને સૌથી જૂની રોગ નિવારક પદ્ધતિ માનવામાં આવે છે. આયુર્વેદમાં ફક્ત તમારા રોગ પર જ નહીં પરંતુ તે રોગના કારણો પર કામ કરવામાં આવે છે. આયુર્વેદમાં શરીરમાં રોગોનું કારણ ત્રિદોષનું અસંતુલન માનવામાં આવે છે. ત્રિદોષ એટલે કે વાત દોષ, પિત્ત દોષ અને કફ દોષ શરીરમાં જોવા મળે છે, જો આમાંથી કોઈ દોષ વધે તો શરીરમાં વિવિધ પ્રકારના રોગો ઉત્પન્ન થાય છે.

આયુર્વેદ વ્યક્તિના શરીર, મન અને આત્માને સંપૂર્ણ એકમ માને છે અને તેના આધારે કાર્ય કરે છે. મન અને શરીર એકબીજાને પ્રભાવિત કરે છે અને સાથે મળીને કોઈપણ રોગને દૂર કરી શકે છે. આયુર્વેદ અનુસાર, મેટાબોલિક અને કાર્મિનેટીવ એમ બે પરિબળો શરીરમાં વિવિધ રોગોનું કારણ બને છે. મેટાબોલિક રોગોમાં જાડાપણું, ડાયાબિટીસ, બ્લડ પ્રેશર, શ્વાસ લેવામાં તકલીફ, તાવ, શરદી અને કેન્સર જેવા રોગોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. જ્યારે ક્ષય રોગમાં શરીરમાં પોષક તત્વોની ઉણપ હોય છે. મેટાબોલિક રોગોના ઈલાજ માટે લંગન ઉપચાર એટલે કે ઉપવાસનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે. જ્યારે, ક્ષય રોગને લગતા રોગોના ઉપચાર માટે, વ્રીહાન ચિકિત્સાનો ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવે છે જેમાં શરીરને જરૂરી પોષણ આપવામાં આવે છે.
 
આયુર્વેદમાં ઉપવાસ છે અસરકારક  
કલાવતી આયુર્વેદિક મેડિકલ કોલેજ, કાસગંજમાં પંચકર્મ વિભાગમાં કામ કરતા આસિસ્ટન્ટ પ્રોફેસર અને ડૉ. વિકાસ પ્રજાપતિના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર, ઉપવાસને મેટાબોલિક રોગોના ઈલાજ માટે અસરકારક પદ્ધતિ માનવામાં આવે છે. આ સાથે, કફ સંતુલિત છે. કફ આપણા શરીરમાં રોગો વધારવાનું કામ કરે છે. જ્યારે તમે ઉપવાસ કરો છો, ત્યારે કફ અને ચયાપચયને કારણે થતા રોગોમાં ઘટાડો થઈ શકે છે. કેન્સરને મેટાબોલિક રોગ પણ ગણવામાં આવે છે. ઘણા અભ્યાસોમાં, ઉપવાસને કેન્સરમાં અસરકારક માનવામાં આવે છે.
 
ફાસ્ટિંગ કરવાથી આ રોગમાં થાય છે ઘટાડો 
 જ્યારે આપણે ઉપવાસ કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે આપણા શરીરમાં વધેલા દોષ  ઓછા થવા માંડે છે. આપણી ઉર્જા પાચનમાં નહીં પરંતુ શરીરને સાજા કરવામાં વપરાય છે. જેના કારણે પાચનતંત્ર સારી રીતે કામ કરે છે. શરીરમાં સોજો ઓછો થઈ શકે છે. વજન ઘટાડવામાં મદદ કરે છે. મગજનું કાર્ય સુધરે છે અને સૌથી અગત્યનું તમારું શરીર સારું અનુભવે છે.
 
આયુર્વેદમાં ઉપવાસ
આયુર્વેદમાં ઘણા પ્રકારના ઉપવાસનો ઉલ્લેખ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે જેમાં તમે આખો દિવસ ઉપવાસ કરી શકો છો. એટલે કે તમે માત્ર પાણી પીશો અને દિવસભર ઉપવાસ કરશો. બીજી રીત એ છે કે આખો દિવસ ફક્ત ફળો અને શાકભાજીના જ્યુસ પીવો અને તમારા શરીરને ખાવાથી આરામ આપો. ત્રીજો રસ્તો એ છે કે તમે તૂટક તૂટક ઉપવાસ કરશો. જેમાં તમે તમારી અનુકૂળતા મુજબ સમય નક્કી કરી શકો છો. જેમ કે તમે દિવસમાં માત્ર 8 કલાક જ ભોજન કરશો. બાકીના સમયે માત્ર પાણી પીવું. આ પ્રકારના ઉપવાસ શરીરને સ્વસ્થ રાખવામાં કારગર સાબિત થાય છે.
