1. જો તમે મેજંટા રંગ જોવાવા ઈચ્છો છો તો મેહંદી પેસ્ટ બનાવતા સમયે તેમાં ગુડહલના ફૂળ ક્ર્શ કરીને નાખો.

2. ઠંડા મોસમમાં મેહંદી લગાવો તો મેહંદી પેસ્ટમાં લવિંગ નાખી દો. આ ઠંડથી બચાવશે.

3. મેહંદીમાં તેલ, ચા પાણી કે કૉફે જરૂર મિક્સ કરવું. બીટ જ્યૂસ, તજ, અખરોટ કૉફી કેટલાક એવા તવ છે જેને મેહંદીમાં મિક્સ કરવાથી રંગ ગાઢ ચઢે છે.

4. વાળમાં મેંદી લગાવતા પહેલા પેસ્ટમાં એક કપૂર અને એક ચમચી મેઠીનો પાઉડર મિક્સ કરી લો. આ વાળને અસમય સફેદ થવાથી બચાવશે.

5. બે ચમચી ઑરેંજના રસમાં બે ચમચી મેહંદી પાઉડર અને શેંપૂ કર્યા પછી વાળ પર લગાવો અને દસ મિનિટ પછી ધોઈ નાખો.

6. જો તમે મેંદીનો ઉપયોગ કર્યા પછી વાળ બ્રાઉન નહી પણ કાળા જોઈએ તો કાળી મેહંદી લગાવો કે કોપી પણ હેયર ડાઈ લગાવ્યા પછી મેહંદીના પાણીનો ઉપયોગ કંડીશનરના રૂપમાં કરવું.

7. જો તમે લાંબા રોગથી ઉઠયા છો અને વાળ ખૂબ ખરી રહ્યા છે તો મેંદીને ગર્મ પાણીમાં ઘોળીને દબે -ત્રણ દિવસ વાળમા મૂળમાં લગાવો. વાળના ખરવું ઓછું થઈ જશે.
