સનાતન ધર્મમાં પ્રદોષ વ્રત ખૂબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ માનવામાં આવે છે. આ વ્રત ખાસ કરીને ભગવાન શિવ અને માતા પાર્વતીની પૂજા માટે સમર્પિત છે. શિવપુરાણમાં પણ આ વ્રતનો મહિમા વિગતવાર જણાવવામાં આવ્યો છે. ખાસ કરીને મહિલાઓ ભગવાન શિવના આશીર્વાદ મેળવવા માટે આ વ્રત રાખે છે. ધાર્મિક માન્યતાઓ અનુસાર, પ્રદોષ વ્રત રાખવાથી વ્યવસાય અને કારકિર્દીમાં સફળતા મળે છે. આ વ્રત રાખતી સ્ત્રીઓના જીવનમાં ક્યારેય કોઈ પણ પ્રકારની કમી હોતી નથી. આ ઉપરાંત, અપરિણીત છોકરીઓના લગ્ન સંબંધિત અવરોધો પણ દૂર થાય છે. આ વખતે એપ્રિલ મહિનો શિવભક્તો માટે ખૂબ જ ખાસ અને અનોખો છે. ચૈત્ર મહિનાના શુક્લ 
પક્ષ ત્રયોદશી તિથિએ પડતું ગુરુ પ્રદોષ વ્રત આ વર્ષે ગુરુવાર, એપ્રિલ 2025 ના રોજ આવી રહ્યું છે અને તે પણ ખૂબ જ શુભ યોગ સાથે. આજે  અમે તમને જણાવીશું કે આ વખતે પ્રદોષ વ્રત ક્યારે છે, 9 એપ્રિલ કે 10 એપ્રિલે. ચાલો જાણીએ શુભ મુહુર્ત અને પૂજા વિધિ.
 
આ દિવસે કરવામાં આવશે પ્રદોષ વ્રત  
 આ વખતે ત્રયોદશી તિથિ 9 એપ્રિલે રાત્રે 10:55 વાગ્યાથી શરૂ થઈ રહી છે અને તે 11 એપ્રિલે બપોરે 1:00 વાગ્યા સુધી ચાલશે.  પરંતુ ઉપવાસ ઉદય તિથિ અનુસાર નક્કી થાય છે, તેથી આ પવિત્ર ઉપવાસ ફક્ત 10 એપ્રિલના રોજ જ કરવામાં આવશે. એટલે કે આ વખતે પ્રદોષ વ્રત 10 એપ્રિલે જ કરવામાં આવશે.
 
આ છે શિવપૂજા માટે શુભ મુહુર્ત 
પ્રદોષ કાળ દરમિયાન મહાદેવની પૂજા કરનારા ભક્તોને વિશેષ લાભ મળે છે. આ વખતે પ્રદોષ કાલ સાંજે 6:44 થી 8:59 વાગ્યા સુધી રહેશે. આ તે સમય છે જ્યારે ભગવાન શિવ પોતાના ભક્તોની ભક્તિથી પ્રસન્ન થાય છે અને તેમને પોતાની કૃપાથી આશીર્વાદ આપે છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, તમારે પૂજા સામગ્રી અગાઉથી તૈયાર કરવી જોઈએ અને યોગ્ય પદ્ધતિ અનુસાર પૂજા કરવી જોઈએ.
 
શું છે ગુરુ પ્રદોષ વ્રત ?
 
જ્યારે પ્રદોષ વ્રત ગુરુવારે પડે છે, ત્યારે તેને ગુરુ પ્રદોષ વ્રત કહેવામાં આવે છે. આ દિવસ ગુરુ બૃહસ્પતિ અને ભગવાન શિવ બંનેના આશીર્વાદ મેળવવાના દ્વાર ખોલે છે. ધાર્મિક શાસ્ત્રો અનુસાર, આ દિવસે ઉપવાસ, ધ્યાન અને ભગવાન શિવની પૂજા કરવાથી જીવનના બધા દોષ દૂર થાય છે અને શુભ્રતાનો પણ વાસ રહે છે. 

આ રીતે કરો પૂજા 
ગુરુ પ્રદોષ વ્રતમાં, શિવલિંગ પર પાણી, દૂધ અથવા પંચામૃતથી અભિષેક કરીને, બેલપત્ર, ધતુરા અને સફેદ ફૂલો ચઢાવવાને ખાસ ફળદાયી માનવામાં આવે છે. ઉપરાંત, પ્રદોષ વ્રત કથા સાંભળીને વ્રત પૂર્ણ કરવામાં આવે  છે. એવું માનવામાં આવે છે કે આ વ્રત દરેક પ્રકારના અવરોધ અને મુશ્કેલીથી રક્ષણ આપે છે. તો, આ 10 મી એપ્રિલે મહાદેવને પ્રસન્ન કરવા માટે, સંપૂર્ણ વિધિ-વિધાનથી પૂજા કરો.
